The
full list of the new items being added to the range of officially
licensed movie memorabilia of Sideshow Collectibles has been
revealed, and all of the new items are now on display at this year's
San Diego Comic Con in the Sideshow Collectibles exhibition room at
the event.
So
what have Sideshow unveiled as their new items? Check these out....
Star
Wars
For
Star Wars fans, the latest items they'll want to check out include 12
inch figures of C3PO, R2D2, Anakin Skywalker, a Clone Trooper,
Admiral Thrawn, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker dressed as Stormtroopers
(double pack), a 'Secret Origins of the Sith' Bronze Statue, a
legendary scale bust of Commander Cody, a life size Darth Vader bust
(we HAVE to check that one out!!!), Dioramas and even premium format
figures of Yoda and a Clone Trooper.
The
major Star Wars item on show at the San Diego Comic Con this year is
the huge Millennium Falcon scaled replica, which ships with a display
case. This version of the ship is the closest Sideshow have ever got
to perfectly replicating the actual prop ship itself!
Lord
of the Rings
LotR
fans have some thing to get excited about with the Battle of the Last
Alliance - Sauron vs The Numenorean Army Polystone Diorama and the
Mount Doom Polystone Diorama. These two sets look superb, and are a
welcome addition to the Sideshow Collectibles Lord of the Rings
merchandise range.
Alien
and Predator
Fans
of Aliens and Predators won't be disappointed with the Alien Warrior
maquette, but there's also a new AVPR diorama, a vinyl figure and a
LIFE SIZE Predalien replica.

Comics
and comic movie fans have some great treats in store. New items
include a Silk Spectre II 12 inch figure from the WATCHMEN movie,
Iron Man Mark III, a life size bust of Iron Mn Mark II, polystone
busts of Wolverine, Logan and Magneto, and dioramas too. There are
also some very impressive polystone statues of Venom, Mystique, the
Scarlet Witch and Ghost Rider on the way too.

For
gamers, there are some awesome Streetfighter Mecha Zangief 18 inch
statue and an 18 inch Felicia from Darkstalkers. Then there is the
awesome Ryu Vs Sagat diorama and the Hitman premium format figure
too.

more? There's a 12 inch Duke figure from G.I. Joe, as well as 12 inch
figures of Punk Subject 245, a Martian Soldier, a Martian Ambassador,
an awesome Super Armored Fighting Suit, Indiana Jones, Crimson Cobra
Commander (G.I. Joe again), The Butcher, Flash Gordon, Sinbad the
Sailor, Skeleton warrior and Perseus.
Then
there is a great new G.I. Joe Cobra Throne Cobra Throne environment
for the 12 inch range too. In addition, there are collectible figures
of the Sentinel (The Matrix) and EVA 01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
For
Terminator fans there is an incredible preview of the LIFE SIZE T600
model. Yeah, we said LIFE SIZE. This thing has to be seen to be
believed. If you love your mechs then there's also the A.M.P. suit
maquette from the forthcoming AVATAR movie. The SDCC Sideshow Collectibles announcements really are something.
What
else? A dinosaur diorama, an awesome Freddy Krueger diorama and
polystone statues of Captain Barnaby, Sleazy Rider, classic character
The Shadow, Faith (Buffy the Vampiure Slayer), Herbie (Herbie! Hell
yes!) and 'Supergoof' Goofy. A premium format figure of the Evil
Queen from Snow White is also on show, and looking suitably imposing.
One
of the best items unveiled at this year's SDCC from Sideshow
Collectibles is the fantastic Starship Enterprise replica, based on
the ship as it is in the new movie. With some truly impressive light
features, this is the best Enterprise we've ever seen. Another large
format ship replica on offer is the new Firefly 'Big Damn Ship' model
of the Serenity. There's even a prop replica of the fertility idol
from Indiana Jones! A range of new Vinyl collectibles rounds off the
new items on show from Sideshow Collectibles.
