Marvel Comics’ X23 Comiquette Maquette from Sideshow Collectibles

X-23 has proven to be one of the most popular characters Marvel have come up with in years. A young, female version of Wolverine, featuring her own Adamantium claws and ready wit, X-23 has been a hit in pretty much every title she has appeared in. Now, Sideshow are offering this incredible Maquette of the lady herself as she appeared in the NYX series, looking fantastic thanks to the usual high quality sculpt and paint job. Due to be released in the 3rd quarter of 2009, this piece will be of an as-yet unannounced limited edition. The maquette will stand 18 inches high and will be cast in polystone. While the facial expression the statue has does look a little too cheeky for the rather angry X-23 character, it does add personality to what is an otherwise standard posed piece.
